Movie Fan Zone

The weekend before Halloween sure works in favor of the horror genre. Last weekend, it proved to be profitable for 30 Days Of Night. Imagine what a few days more would do for a franchise installment that is arguably the most consistent performing film series in years.

This weekend looks to be bloody good for Saw IV. Their marketing has been tremendous for thsi film. The blood drive campaign to drum up interest to the film worked last year and I see no end in sight, particularly for this year. It has a huge fanbase that has not been there since the Eighties for otehr notable film franchises belongin in the genre.

Moreover, there are no direct competition from any other new releases. All it has to do is outperform last week’s box office champ. It seems to be an easy task, even for Jigsaw.
