The Easter egg-hunting season may be over but it is never a bad time to look back at the biggest films that lay the biggest eggs in Hollywood box office history. These films were supposed to be huge blockbusters. They were highly anticipated, only to go down sinking like the Titanic. At least the Titanic had a good band…
The Adventures of Pluto Nash - The out-of-this-world comedy was out of the cineplexes quite early. Budgeted at over a hundred million dollars, it grossed $4.4 million. By the way, that was its total domestic gross. Eddie Murphy had this big disappointment even before his recent films.
Ishtar - Dustin Hoffman and Warren Beatty are known for a lot of great films. This is not one of them. Sadly, this is their team-up. People expected more than this, guys.
Cutthroat Island - Back then, Renny Harlin was regarded as a successful director, box office wise. This film made people forget about him to this day. It is so bad that a lot of people rank it as the biggest flop in history. No arguments here.
