Each of the Emperor Penguins has a heartsong, except for one, Mumble (Elijah Wood), he can’t carry a tune but he can really do a mean tap dance. His parents are Memphis (Hugh Jackman) and Norma Jean (Nicole Kidman), they are very sad because without the heartsong, their son will not find his true love.

Without his heartsong he won’t belong, he grew up until the time he lost his last feather, still he wasn’t able to sing. Even with this major problem in his life, he was not afraid of the challenges that come his way.

He had only one friend, Gloria (Britanny Murphy), which happens to be the best singer in the land. They already had a connection the day they hatched.

The leader of Emperor Land, Noah the Elder (Hugo Weaving) didn’t like that he was too different from them and succeeded in casting him out of their community.

A whole new adventure awaits Mumble, in his journey, he met the Adelie Amigos led by Ramon (Robin Williams). In Adelie Land the community loved his dancing moves, he also sought the leader Lovelace (Robin Williams) to answer life’s questions, payment is by pebble.

With all these adventures and problems, he set out to prove that by being true to oneself one can make a difference.
