After the not-so-receptive response to their last offering, Pixar will be releasing their newest animated crowd-pleaser this season. Entitled Ratatouille, which you will master the pronunciation in a few days, this is the return of Brad Bird as director. He last helmed the ultra-successful The Incredibles a few years back.

After last year’s mildly disappointing Cars, this could very well be a return to form by the studio. The plot revolves around a rat named Remy, who dreams of becoming a chef in Paris. This would take a lot more than a mastery of cookbooks, right? The voices in the film are provided by comedian Patton Oswalt,Janeane Garofalo, Brad Garrett and Peter O’Toole among others.

With the days of Shrek The Third and Surf’s Up all behind us now, this could very well be the toast of summer for the kids. Both earlier animated flicks disappointed many people and the latter has been posting forgettable numbers in the box office. Plus, Pixar’s worst film yet had its moments too, so there is little doubt this film would perform quite well. Even if Bruce Willis has to die hard once more.
