If Will Ferrell could easily crush the efforts of Quentin tarantino and Robert Rodriguez together with their all-star cast, he would find no challenge in Halle Berry and Bruce Willis.

Yes, I fearlessly and probably stupidly predict that Blades Of Glory would simply lord it over the competition in this week’s U.S. box office race. Apart from the sensual thriller Perfect Stranger, there is no high profile Hollywood film that would disrupt the figure skating comedy in continuing its glorious run at the tills. Ferrell and heder would trump out Berry and Willis.

Why? First of all, the trailer was nothing new to me. It even seemed boring. While the thought of Berry undressing in the silver screen is really, really enticing, I sense that moviegoers are just not into these kind of film. The last time a sexually-charged flick became a hit was Unfaithful. That was an Adrian Lyne film so that is probably superior.

Secondly, Ferrell is such a huge hit with the crowd. There is just no stopping this man once he is in full comedic form. He took down thetwo rebellious directors, plus Ice Cube and Hilary Swank in the film’s second week! That is an achievement. To think this is a spring film. So bet on it: Blades Of Glory would triumph once more.
